The Seckford Foundation approached us with a clear and practical challenge, to help streamline the way users book and pay for the impressive range of sports, academic, and events facilities at Woodbridge School.
Their existing booking process relied heavily on staff time, with manual handling of enquiries, bookings and payments. They needed a system that would reduce admin pressure and allow users to self-serve, browsing, booking, and paying for facilities with ease.

We began by listening and understanding how the school’s facilities were currently being used and booked, and where the biggest time drains were for both users and staff.
From there, we explored different solutions, considering both a bespoke build and a WordPress site with booking functionality. But after thorough research and analysis, we found Sportskey, a robust sports facility management platform that offered the vast majority of what our client needed, online booking, secure payments, and a big reduction in admin time.
We facilitated the relationship with Sportskey, handling introductions and coordination.
With Sportskey underway, we designed and built a new WordPress webpage to sit between Woodbridge School’s main website and the Sportskey platform. The goal was to reduce enquiries into the admin team, by making the user journey seamless, helping users see what facilities are available, providing images and information, and then directing them to the right booking area.
It was vital that the new page matched the look and feel of the existing Woodbridge School site, a beautifully designed and content-rich platform, while still keeping things simple and accessible for users.
To bring it all together, we also included an interactive map of the school site, allowing visitors to visually browse the facilities and click through to book available spaces.
We delivered a streamlined, user-friendly experience for both the team and their customers, saving time, reducing admin, and helping this busy local venue run even more smoothly.
