The club’s previous website, while functional, presented several challenges for users. Navigation was often convoluted, key information was buried within multiple clicks, and the overall user experience needed a little bit of work. One of the key points for the club was so that prospective and current members were able to quickly find details on court booking, membership options, or available courses. The sites design did stand a good test of time but was now in need of a lift in order to effectively showcase the club’s dynamic atmosphere or encourage immediate engagement.
We began our process with meeting members of the club committee to thoroughly understand their core requirements and objectives. We delved into what day to day life looks like at the club, identified the most frequent queries from members and visitors, and pinpointed the critical call to actions that users needed to perform on the site.
Based on this, we proposed a complete overhaul, focusing on a new, streamlined design that utilised Elementor and WordPress. Our primary goal was to create an intuitive and engaging experience that would get their customers to essential information quickly and effortlessly and showcase the dynamic nature of the club.
Utilising a clean, modern aesthetic allowed us to reflect the club’s professionalism while maintaining a friendly, inviting feel.
We revisited the site pages, grouping related content logically and reducing the number of clicks required to reach popular sections, strategically placed highly visible such as ‘Book a Court’ and ‘Join Now’ buttons and links throughout the site, guiding users directly to their next steps, and ensured that information on coaching and development programmes was easily accessible in a bit to prompt people to enrol.
