A bold new identity for an award-winning youth charity. Transforming Colchester and Tendring Youth Enquiry Service into YES, a confident, accessible brand that empowers and supports over 8,000 young people every year.
Accessibility and clarity were top priorities, given the urgency and vulnerability of many users. Most content was carried over from the previous site, supported with new material crafted by the YES team.
We highlighted personal stories and emphasised that support isn’t limited to the YES building – staff will meet young people wherever they feel comfortable, whether at home, in a café, in a park, or out in the community. Once the site launched, it was handed over to the in-house web team to continue developing and maintaining.
In an ever-changing world, supporting young people is vital. In North-East Essex, YES (Youth Enquiry Services) has spent over 30 years helping young people thrive, engaging more than 8,000 each year through its housing, teen pregnancy, and mental health counselling services.
Integrated Ideas were recommended to YES during a major rebrand, including the creation of a new website. The goal was to move from the longer name, Colchester and Tendring Youth Enquiry Service, to the more memorable and confident “YES,” reinforcing the charity’s purpose and approachability. YES involved its team, board, volunteers, and service users through a focus group to ensure the new identity genuinely reflected their mission, values, and commitment to inclusivity and support.
